This annual event draws 1000 or more visitors to help celebrate our beautiful home.rn rnLive solar powdered music and a farmer’s market will be accompanied by vendors, activities and demonstrations about native plant sources, alternative energy, “Leave No Trace” principles, solar oven demonstrations, environmental art and sustainable products. Kids can participate in games and a reading of Dr. Suess’ “The Lorax”. The event, including a silent auction, food and a beer garden, takes place on the lawn of the Bit & Spur Restaurant at 1212 Zion Park Boulevard from 12:00 AM to 6:00 P.M.
Dixie Escalante Electric is proud to be the primary sponsor of the Kite Festival for the 13th consecutive year. The Kite Festival has been a great community event that has involved thousands of participants and has benefited thousands of youth through the associated reading program. The employees of Dixie Escalante Electric collectively donate a great deal of time to the Kite Festival and view it as a means of giving something back to the community. We appreciate the large number of sponsors, the many volunteers, and the steering committee for their dedicated support of the Kite Festival.
Kite redemptions and flying will be from 10am – 7pm There will be concessions and other children events for $1 to $2.
The St. George Art Festival showcases the many artists who call St. George their home. Over the years it has expanded to include over 110 artists juried from hundreds of entries from throughout the United States. This festival has regional appeal for both artists and festival goers. Displaying thousands of original works of art, the festival is punctuated with pageantry, music and food. The festival takes place in the beautiful Town Square, the centerpiece of the Historic District, and is known for consistently outstanding artwork.

The Tuacahn Saturday Market will start its fourth season this Spring and will continue to be your preferred entertainment, food and fun every Saturday all year. This season starts our year around Saturday Market. You’ll find something new and different every Saturday morning at Tuacahn.
The hours are from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Admission and entertainment is free. Patrons will be able to stroll along the tree lined walkway next to the running water feature and browse the displays by local painters, artists and crafters. Food, including seasonal fruits and vegetables will be available for purchase including weekly co-op baskets with all your favorite fresh fruits & vegetables.
Tuacahns’ Plaza is just the place from 9:00am to 11:00am to purchase a pancake breakfast with bacon and juice for the whole family with an abundance of tables nearby or bring a blanket and have a picnic on the grass. Many vendors have a diversity of food for purchase all during the market hours to accommodate hungry shoppers.
Tuacahn is already a well known place for live music and professional theatre and now is well known for Tuacahn’ Saturday Market. It is one more way that those who want to experience more of Tuacahn can enjoy its’ wonderful surroundings in an outdoor market in the canyon featuring local artwork, crafts, food and entertainment.
