Zion Canyonrn8th Annual Earth Day CelebrationrnClimate-Friendly FestivitiesrnLocally Is GloballyrnSaturday, April 21rnrnZion National Park in conjunction with the community of Springdale, Zion Natural History Association, Zion Harvest and Z-Arts will celebrate the 41st Anniversary of Earth Day in Springdale on Saturday April 21, 2012. This annual event draws 1000 or more visitors to help celebrate our beautiful home.rn rnLive solar powdered music and a farmer’s market will be accompanied by vendors, activities and demonstrations about native plant sources, alternative energy, “Leave No Trace” principles, solar oven demonstrations, environmental art and sustainable products. Kids can participate in games and a reading of Dr. Suess’ “The Lorax”. The event, including a silent auction, food and a beer garden, takes place on the lawn of the Bit & Spur Restaurant at 1212 Zion Park Boulevard from 12:00 AM to 6:00 P.M.
