Wingman Events, the air show promoter, says the event will produce more than $2.5 million in economic benefits to the southern Utah area. The air show has received the support of the St. George City Council, St. George Airport and the St. George Convention and Visitor Bureau.
The Thunder Over Utah Air Show is being underwritten by the Yankee Air Museum, an internationally known aviation museum and historical society based in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Kevin Walsh, Director of the Thunder Over Utah air show said, “We are delighted to be able to bring one of the world’s most popular air show demonstration teams to southern Utah. There is a tremendous amount of excitement in the community when we have discussed this event, sure to be one of Utah’s top family activities of the year,” he said.
The Blue Angels will headline a sensational lineup of top air show performers by top civilian and military pilots and aircraftwhich will include classic warbirds.
